Hutto Firefighters

president's message

Hear from our President on the mission, values, and dedication that guide our firefighters every day.

Leadership through service

The Hutto Professional Firefighter's Association is proud to be the voice for the 60 plus firefighters who keep our community safe. I'm truly humbled by the opportunity to serve our members and our community as president of our association.

The HPFFA is a Local member of the International Association of Fire Fighters, and the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters. Through these affiliations, we are working across the state and the nation to improve the fire profession. The IAFF is the leading advocate for firefighter safety and citizen protection in the United States. The IAFF is on the frontlines helping to introduce safety initiatives through building codes and legislation in Washington D.C. and Austin.

Our members report for duty each day committed to providing excellence in public safety to the more than 70,000 residents we serve in the City of Hutto and the county outside of the city limits. When our firefighters aren't responding to emergencies across our 63-square-mile district, they're constantly training and honing their skills so that when it's your emergency, we're ready to serve you.

Our association works with our ESD Board of Directors to ensure that your local firefighters have the staffing, tools, and apparatus they need to protect you. We advocate for fair wages and benefits, the safest possible working conditions, and a strong positive relationship with the community. Hutto Fire Rescue remains among the most professional, well trained and equipped in the state.

The firefighters at Hutto Fire Rescue are proud to have a strong relationship with the community we serve and take an active role in communicating with our citizens. On behalf of each member of Local 4707, thank you for the support you've given us. We look forward to providing excellence in public safety for years to come.

The HPFFA is funded through membership dues paid by members of Hutto Fire Rescue. We also accept donations from local citizens and businesses to assist in our charitable efforts. If you wish to make a donation to the HPFFA, please feel free to contact us for further information. We also welcome your questions and comments.
